Drake gifts Lil Baby a flossy new Rolex - REVOLT TV

wristwatch.indah.link

Lil Baby once again showcases the benefits of having obscenely rich friends.

On Monday night (June 28), the rapper used his Instagram story to show off a flossy Chrome Hearts Rolex watch. In some overlain text for the story, Lil Baby thanked Drake for the gift. “@Champagnepapi thank you,” he wrote.

It’s unclear why Drizzy sent Lil Baby the watch, which is part of the 6ix God’s collaboration with Chrome Hearts and Rolex. It could be his way of saying congrats for Voice of the Heroes, Baby’s newly released joint album with Lil Durk.

This isn’t the first time Lil Baby has gotten amazing gifts from his fellow celebrity friends. Last December, NBA superstar James Harden gave the Quality Control rapper $300,000 worth of valuables for a birthday present. One part of the gift was $100,000 in cash. The next part was a Prada bag filled with Honey Buns.

News of Lil Baby’s newest gift comes a couple of weeks after Voice of the Heroes debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The project moved 150,000 equivalent album units in its first week of release. With its combination of intermittently melodic flows and dense street imagery, it was really no surprise that the album was as successful as it was. Soon, fans will get the chance to see Lil Baby and Durkio perform the songs live.

Last week, Baby decided to keep his foot on the gas when he announced “The Back Outside Tour.” The trek that will see Lil Baby and Durk perform in various cities this coming fall. Needless to say, it’s been a pretty dope last few weeks for Baby.

Peep Lil Baby’s flossy new watch for yourself below. Check out the tour dates for “The Back Outside Tour” when you’re done with that.

Roger Federer & LeBron James are Rich Rolex Dudes With Taste - Highsnobiety

wristwatch.indah.link

With a net wealth between them bigger than the proverbial GDP of a small country, Roger Federer and LeBron James are two sporting GOATs who could comfortably afford any timepiece on the planet. It speaks volumes, then, that both superstars have been known to reject opulence, gravitating towards something a whole lot tamer and, if we're being honest, tasteful.

In a recent Wimbledon press conference, Fed was seen wearing a 41mm Rolex Oyster Perpetual in stainless steel complete with its distinct yellow dial. The candy-colored range was introduced in 2020 with a tag price of "just" $5,900, making it an ideal luxury option for first-time buyers. The Swiss, of course, scored an ambassador role with Rolex in 2006 for an alleged $15 million over a decade span. This was subsequently renewed in a deal that sees him bank a reported $8 million per year. His collection of Rollies is the stuff of legend and are proudly on show when he is photographed lifting trophies — an extremely common sight in tennis over the last 20 years or so.  The OP model is hardly the enthusiast's favorite, and the initial reception upon its release was mixed online. I think it's a grower, though, and is eye-catching without being over the top on Federer's wrist. Its appeal seems obvious, not to watch geeks, but the more casual consumer.

Similarly, LeBron James is not a fellow who is short of a penny or two. Unlike the Swiss Maestro, Bron isn’t limited by an endorsement deal, which gives him the freedom to cop exorbitantly priced watches — from Richard Mille to AP — like you or I would groceries. Despite his wealth, the Lakers man’s taste isn’t dictated by eye-watering price tags like other god-level athletes (see Cristiano Ronaldo); he likes what he likes, and isn’t a snob. As the eagle-eyed Hodinkee previously reported, nowhere else was this more evident than on the season four debut of HBO series The Shop, when he opted for the exact same Oyster Perpetual as Federer’s, only with a coral red dial. It’s funny, because on the same episode we saw Jay-Z rock some kind of bonkers AP Royal Oak — a million miles removed from James’ low-key option. The Rolex is casual to the point of insouciant, almost a statement that he doesn’t feel the need to get caught up in trying to out flex others or show off. Why would he? He’s LeBron m’fing James!

Both Federer and James are a reminder that sometimes the best option isn’t necessarily the most expensive one. That’s something we should all remember, regardless of income. Not least when it comes to watches.

Hulk versus Batman — which Rolex superhero should you choose? - WatchPro USA

wristwatch.indah.link
Paul Altieri.

Many Rolex watches have acquired charming nicknames since coming to market, and among the various names ranging from athletes to cola flavours are a couple of superhero-inspired nicknames, namely the Batman and the Hulk.

The Rolex GMT-Master II “Batman” with its blue and black ceramic bezel insert and the Rolex Submariner “Hulk” with its green dial and bezel are among the most famous Rolex watches with nicknames, but they are two completely different models – the Submariner is a diver’s watch, and the GMT-Master II is a pilot/traveler’s watch.

So, that begs the ultimate question, which one is better? The Rolex GMT-Master II Batman? Or the Rolex Submariner Hulk?

Both Rolex watches boast colorful design sets and all-steel construction but they are very different when it comes to functionality. Additionally, the Submariner Hulk is often seen as rather polarizing with its bright green dial and bezel, while the Batman is arguably more versatile with its more toned-down colorway (this opinion, of course, is completely subjective and open to debate).

Origins Of The Rolex Batman And Rolex Hulk

In 2010, Rolex introduced two new stainless steel Submariner models with beefier super cases, characterized by thicker lugs and crown guards, despite retaining the same 40mm diameter. This pair of new-gen Subs also had ceramic bezels and bolder “Maxi dials” with larger hands and lume plots. One was the Submariner ref. 116610LN with a black bezel and dial, while the other was the Submariner ref. 116610LV with a green bezel and dial.

The reference 116610LV was not the first green Submariner Rolex made (that honor goes to the 50th-anniversary Submariner 16610LV with a green aluminum bezel and black dial). However, it was the first Submariner with a green Cerachrom ceramic bezel and also the first to have a matching green dial. Given the heftier shape of the new green Submariner and the prominent use of green throughout the dial and bezel, the “Hulk” nickname makes perfect sense for the ref. 116610LV.

THE SPLIT-COLOR CERACHROM CERAMIC BEZEL

Three years later, Rolex unveiled a new stainless steel GMT-Master II with a blue and black Cerachrom ceramic bezel. Not only was this the first-ever blue and black bezel made by Rolex, but it was also the brand’s first two-color Cerachrom ceramic bezel. Up until then, Rolex maintained that it would be impossible to make a bi-colored ceramic bezel, thus explaining why the then-current GMT-Master II models were only available with monochromatic ceramic bezels. However, the brand proved itself wrong, signaling the return to the split-color bezel that made the original GMT-Master watch famous.

Previous GMT-Master bi-colored bezels already had nicknames; there’s the blue and red “Pepsi,” the red and black “Coke,” and the brown and gold “Root Beer.” Therefore, it was only natural that the BLNR-edition (where BLNR is shorthand for the French words for blue and black) bezel would get one too, and the “Batman” label stuck thanks to the color scheme’s similarity to the fictional Caped Crusader. It’s important to note that the nickname is attached to the bezel and not to the particular reference, clarifying why both the previous ref. 116710BLNR and the new ref. 126710BLNR (released in 2019) are both known as Rolex Batman watches; however, the new edition is also known as the “Batgirl” due to its slightly more refined case shape and the option of the Jubilee bracelet.

Design And Functionality Of The Rolex Batman And Rolex Hulk

The Batman and the Hulk both feature 40mm stainless steel cases, rotating bezels, similar dial layouts with Mercedes-style hands, date indications, and lume-filled plots for hour markers. Both are also fitted with sapphire crystals that have the familiar Cyclops magnification lens over the date window.

However, the Hulk is a dive watch, which means that its bezel only rotates in one direction, and it is graduated to 60 minutes to track immersion times. On the other hand, the Batman is a GMT watch. Therefore its bezel rotates in both directions and is marked with 24 hours to indicate the hour in another time zone. Furthermore, the Submariner has a traditional three-hand configuration (hour, minute, seconds), while the GMT-Master II has four hands (local hour, reference hour, minute, seconds).

DIFFERENT MOVEMENTS AND BRACELETS

Naturally, because these watches offer different functions, they also run on different movements. The Hulk Submariner is powered by the Caliber 3135, while the Batman GMT-Master II relies on either the Caliber 3186 (ref. 116710BLNR) or the Caliber 3285 (ref. 126710BLNR), with the newer Cal. 3285 offering a longer 70-hour power reserve. Additionally, although both models are fitted with Triplock screw-down winding crowns, the Submariner is water-resistant to 300 meters while the GMT-Master II has a 100-meter depth rating.

Moving onto the bracelets, the Hulk watch is fitted with a three-link Oyster bracelet with brushed surfaces, equipped with a Glidelock clasp, allowing divers to lengthen the bracelet up to 20mm in 2mm increments to fit over a diving suit. The first Rolex Batman 116710BLNR was exclusively offered on an Oyster bracelet with polished center links; however, the Batman 126710BLNR was initially only offered on the five-link Jubilee bracelet but has since become available on the three-link Oyster bracelet as well. The Oysterlock clasp differs from the Hulk, featuring the 5mm Easylink extension system rather than the 20mm diver’s Glidelock clasp.

Rolex Batman Vs. Rolex Hulk: Which One Wins?

Overall, the Batman and the Hulk are two different Rolex watches with different functions. They may sport similar silhouettes, near-identical materials, and both feature vibrant colors, but one is a GMT timepiece able to indicate three time zones, while the other is a professional diver with the ability to plunge to 300 meters below the surface of the ocean.

So, picking between these two highly popular Rolex tool watches is a matter of deciding which function would be most practical for you and which colorway suits your taste better.

Roger Federer Celebrates Wimbledon Return With 'Ballsy' Rolex Flex - DMARGE

wristwatch.indah.link

Wimbledon is back! And to celebrate the occasion, its favourite son, Roger Federer, has picked up a new watch.

The 39-year-old Swiss legend has had a tough 2021 so far. Federer has bowed out of the Australian Open as well as a number of ATP Tour events – he withdrew from the French Open in the fourth round, and only recorded fairly average performances at the Qatar, Geneva and Halle Opens.

But he seems in good spirits ahead of the world’s most prestigious tennis tournament, especially if his wrist candy is anything to go by.

The Rolex ambassador was spotted fronting a Wimbledon press conference wearing a Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41 with a striking yellow dial (ref. 124300-0004) that immediately makes one think of the bright yellow of a tennis ball. A fitting horological pickup, then.

Images: @rogerfederer/Rolex

Rolex made a splash last year when they introduced a wide range of colourful lacquered enamel dials to the Oyster Perpetual collection, ranging from candy pink to turquoise blue and of course, this eye-catching yellow.

It’s not the first time Rolex has experimented with colourful dials like this. Back in the 70s and 80s, Rolex offered a similar selection of colourful options, which they termed ‘Lacquered Stella’ dials. These modern renditions are also often called ‘Stella dials’ by Rolex fans because of this.

“The irony is that Stella models weren’t popular during the time Rolex produced them… In some cases, Stella dials were even replaced by conventional or other dials. Rolex allegedly destroyed batches of Stella dials as they were unsellable, one reason why they are so rare today,” watchtime.me explains.

Federer holds the record for most singles titles won at Wimbledon (8) and shares the record with Swedish champ Björn Borg for most consecutive wins with 5 (Borg from 1976-1980 and Federer 2003-2007).

Federer has been seeded 6th for this year’s Wimbledon Championships. Despite this, he’s actually been placed in the bottom half of the draw – but will have to potentially overcome Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev if he wishes to reach a 13th Wimbledon final, the ATP Tour’s official website relates.

His first game will be against France’s Adrian Mannarino tonight at 11:45pm AEST.

Nelly Korda Becomes No 1 in Rolex Womens World Golf Rankings - LPGA

wristwatch.indah.link

Six-time LPGA Tour winner is the third American to reach World No. 1 and first since 2014

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (June 28, 2021) – For the first time in her career, Nelly Korda has reached No. 1 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings following her win at the 2021 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. She becomes the third American to sit atop the Rolex Rankings, joining Stacy Lewis (four weeks in 2013 and 21 weeks in 2014) and Cristie Kerr (five weeks in 2010).

Korda, 22, jumped two spots to World No. 1, moving past Jin Young Ko and Inbee Park, another former World No. 1. Ko had held the No. 1 position since July 28, 2019, a streak of 701 consecutive days.

“Reaching World No. 1 has always been a goal of mine, and I can’t believe that I’ve actually done it. The other players who have been No. 1 are incredible and I’m honored to join that list,” said Korda. “I couldn’t have done with this without so much support from my family, my caddie, my sponsors and my entire team, not to mention all the fans who support me every week.

Korda has three victories so far in 2021, coming at the Gainbridge LPGA, the Meijer LPGA Classic and the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. She became a Rolex First-Time Winner when she won the 2018 Taiwan Swinging Skirts LPGA and successfully defended that title in 2019. Korda also earned victory at the 2019 ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open, joining her sister Jessica, who won that title in 2012.

Korda currently leads the LPGA with a 68.857 scoring average and is atop the Rolex Player of the Year standings with 161 points. Her eight top-10 finishes, including her LPGA Tour-leading three victories, are the most on Tour through 15 events. Korda leads the Tour with 200 birdies and 25 rounds in the 60s, and is tied for first in eagles with nine, including two during the final round of her KPMG Women’s PGA victory. She is expected to represent the United States at the Tokyo Olympics in August.

Ko’s streak of 100 consecutive weeks at No. 1 in the Rolex Rankings is the third-longest streak in history, following Lorena Ochoa’s 158 weeks (April 23, 2007, to May 2, 2010) and Yani Tseng’s 109 weeks (Feb. 14, 2011, to March 17, 2013).

Nelly Korda Captures KPMG Women's PGA and Reaches No. 1 in Rolex Rankings - LPGA

wristwatch.indah.link

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. | For the Kordas, winning is a way of life. Papa Petr captured the 1998 Australian Open in tennis; mom Regina also played professionally; brother Sebastian took an ATP tennis title earlier this year and big sister Jessica has six LPGA Tour victories. Now Nelly is a major champion.

Korda added a glittering trophy to the family jewels, making her sixth victory the KMPG Women’s PGA Championship. In doing so, she reached No. 1 in the Rolex Rankings, the first American to do so since Stacy Lewis in 2014. Nelly will also join Jessica in Tokyo on the U.S. Olympic team with a chance Seb might be there as well.

“That has a lovely ring to it, not going to lie,” Korda said when she was introduced to the media as a major champion. “It's been amazing, honestly,” she said after backing up last week’s victory at the Meijer Classic with the biggest triumph of her career.

“The past few days, the battle with Lizette, it's been a lot of fun,” she said. “It's been stressful. I think it's had everything. But I just can't believe it. I'm still in shock.”

Korda and Lizette Salas waged a spirit showdown. They began tied at 15 under par, five strokes ahead of Patty Tavatanakit, Celine Boutier and Giulia Molinaro and it remained a two-woman tussle that was as much about will as it was about skill. Salas absorbed the best Korda had to offer until Nelly’s power ultimate carried the day.

Fueled by a pair of eagles, Korda closed with a 68 to finish 19-under-par 269 while Salas posted a 71 to be at 272. Molinaro and Hyo Joo Kim tied for third at 278 while Tavatanakit and 2017 Women’s PGA champion Danielle Kang were at 280. Boutier and Austin Ernst finished at 281 with Amy Yang, Cydney Clanton and Xiyu Lin at 282.

Atlanta Athletic Club – the sixth consecutive venue to host the Women’s PGA that previously held a men’s major – proved to be a test of both shot making and decision making. PGA course set-up guru Kerry Haigh moved around tees to create a drivable par-4 and some reachable par-5s while tucking hole locations close to watery penalty areas, forcing players to make risk/reward decisions.

Korda took full advantage of the opportunities created by her distance advantage off the tee, making two eagles on Sunday that didn’t total 10 feet combined. On No. 5, she hit a 7-wood from 243 yards to 18 inches and on No. 12 she feathered an iron on her second shot over water to eight feet.

“I pretty much dominated a lot of the par-5s,” Korda said. “I hit the ball really well, putted my putts. I just honestly -- everything was on, and when you look back on weeks like this, it's really special, and you don't take it for granted. I'm really grateful for all the work and for my family constantly pushing me.”

Salas hung tough until No. 12 when she hit a lay-up on the par-5 and then followed the brilliant iron shot by Korda by hitting into the back bunker and making a bogey. Korda’s eagle gave her a four-stroke lead that grew to five with a birdie on No. 14. She gave two strokes back when she found the water on No. 15 and made a double bogey but that’s as close as Salas got.

“I’m extremely proud,” said Salas, who also was runner-up in the 2019 AIG Women’s Open. “We came in with a goal and I think we exceeded it. When things weren't going my way, I still said, I'm okay. There's just a lot going on right now. There's a lot of emotion. I'm really grateful for being in this position and for fighting until the end.”

Salas was shaky early but made gutsy par-saving putts on Nos. 1 and 2. Korda countered with a birdie on No. 3 and the sensational eagle on No. 5. But Salas made a birdie on No. 5 and followed it with another on No. 6 to stay within one despite being out-driven by more than 30 yards on average by Korda throughout their weekend matchup.

“I played great this week, and I think this is the start of something great,” Salas said. “We racked up some Solheim Cup points, and the beautiful thing is there's two American flags on top of that leaderboard.”

Between them, Nelly and Jessica Korda now have 12 LPGA Tour victories and a major championship. That Nelly, 22, got a major before 28-year-old Jessica, is likely something that will come up when the five Kordas gather around the family table at the next holiday meal. But this is a family that is all about support.

“Honestly, when I'm down, they're always there,” says Nelly. “Just having my mom out here is really nice. She followed me most of the week, which was nice. I mean, Jess is like the best big sister. I don't think anyone can come close to her. She just has a heart of gold.”

And now Nelly not only joins Dad as a major champion and she is the No. 1 player in women’s golf. That’s a pretty big challenge to throw out to her big sister. But if there is one thing these Kordas have proven – they know how to win, and they know how to lean on each other.

Rolex Dial variants Submariner Tiffany Spider Tropical Gilt Red Big Crown nipple info | HYPEBEAST - HYPEBEAST

Collecting watches can get complicated. It only gets worse when looking at models with a long lineage and multiple updates. The longer time passes, things like service/Franken parts, fakes, and DIY jobs can find their way into a specific reference you’re after. And it only gets foggier if the brand you’re dealing with has a century-old history.

When it comes to references and variants, there are few that can match the esoteric nature of Rolex and its Submariner. Rolex is not only the most customized and faked watch brand but its actual watches have gone through so many tweaks throughout the years that it has given rise to exclusive naming within the watch community for certain references. You really start going down the rabbit hole when you factor in outsourced movements, supplier changes, dial fonts, and even how for example, there was this small window in production where the recipe for UV protection (lack of) and lacquer composition somehow starting birthing a generation of discolored dials and bezels.

While not so much a guide for the collector that’s already bought them all, new watch enthusiasts that are looking to dive deeper into the world of Rolex will want to check out some of these earlier references as sort of the progenitors of some to the modern Rolex watches that are quickly appreciating in today’s market. Heck, you may even find some of these pieces whimsical and interesting. We are again joined by Paul Altieri of Bob’s Watches to go through some of the variations and jargon that’s present in his collection of vintage Rolex watches.

Let’s start with the Rolex 6200 pictured above. Known as the “Big Crown,” this watch is a legend in vintage Rolex collecting circles. This incredible example, from Paul Altieri’s private collection, dates back to 1956 and is considered by many Rolex fans to be the ultimate grail watch. This rare watch is also notable because of its rare 3, 6, 9 dial and no hash bezel. What is even more unique about this watch is what it is missing. In addition to the lack of the traditional “Submariner” label at the bottom of the dial, this early model did not come with any crown guards. This watch was also the first sub to have Mercedes-style hands and sees “BREVET” on the crown just under the coronet.

6538/6 “Red Depth”

Another rare vintage Rolex Submariner worth taking a look at is the reference 6538/6. If this watch looks familiar to you, it is because it shares a lot of similarities with the $1 million USD dollar Submariner that sold at Christie’s. This watch is a little different for a few reasons. First, this watch features a depth rating of 100m/300f instead of the 200m/660f like the one from Christie’s (and Sean Connery in Dr. No). Additionally, the bezel on the 6538/6 is actually present on this watch and the patina on the hands and hour markers match perfectly. And, although this watch shares the same lack of crown guards as the 6200 model mentioned above, this reference has a significantly smaller crown.

6538 “Gilt + Faded Bezel”

Remember the watch that sold at Christie’s for $1.1 million USD? It was a beat-up vintage 6538 with an amazing backstory. Considering that the watch sold at Christie’s has been through the wringer, this watch above is in pristine condition. The first thing that catches your eye is the faded bezel with hash marks. The bezel has faded from a solid black color to an almost plum or wine purple. The next things your eyes should wander towards are the gilt letters on the Submariner. Gilt dials were one of the first types from Rolex. They are known for their warmer golden-colored markings which look antique against the gloss-black surface. The word “Submariner” is also written in gold, and the watch has a beautiful creamy patina.

5512 “Square Crown Guards”

The Vintage Rolex Submariner ref. 5512 with square crown guards is without a doubt on any collector’s wish list. To date, there are only a dozen or so known to still exist so finding one won’t be easy. When square crown guards were first introduced in the early ’60s, customers complained about how clumsy they were and how they made it difficult to wind the crown. So what did Rolex do? It redesigned the newer production models with pointed crown guards to make it easier to change the time. Between the boxy crown guards and the gilt lettering featured on this ultra-rare Submariner, this watch is something even the most discerning of collectors would love to own.

5513 “Tiffany & Co. + Maxi”

What many people don’t know is that Rolex and Tiffany & Co. have a fair amount of history together. On this watch, you’ll notice the co-branded signage on the dial. What makes this watch even more remarkable is the “Maxi I Dial.” The “Maxi Dial” refers to the large lume plots you see featured on this watch. Initially produced from 1962 up until 1990, the Submariner 5513 is the quintessential Rolex dive watch. Since these watches are no longer in production, they are obviously only available in the used Rolex market. Because the 5513 was in production for so long, this watch is especially susceptible to replication and forgery.

1680 “Red Sub/Single Red + Mark V”

This is a Red Submariner, circa 1971, and it displays all the makings of the Mark V dial — it displays the “feet first” as opposed to meters first on the line, the “6” is “Open,” and the depth rating is very thin. All these attributes are correct and matched with the serial number. The tritium has patinated to a beautiful creamy yellow color.

1680 “18k YG Tropical”

Here is a vintage Rolex Submariner Circa 1978 ref. 1680 in 18k yellow gold. While the dial was originally blue, time along with a little help from the sun has aged and turned the dial “tropical.” While some consider this damage to the watch, there is a load of collectors that enjoy this type of patina and added character to the watch. This dial went from a rich metallic blue to purple with spotting. Both the blue and the black dial versions of this watch have been found in grey, orange, and brown tropical variants. If you look carefully at Paul’s version, you’ll also note that the font on the depth rating is different than the normal Submariner.

1680 “18k YG Nipple Dial + Jubilee Bracelet”

The “nipple” comes from the uniquely-shaped hour markers for these dressier versions of the dive watch. This black dial Submariner is from 1968, and what makes this watch special is the unusual 18k gold Jubilee bracelet that it came with.

16800 “Spider Dial (look close)”

Yeah, yeah, not another needless use of the term “wabi-sabi.” But, this is exactly what it is. The first time I came across one of these, I was sure I would get a discount, and while some dealers do not touch these with a 1,000ft/300m pole, there are dealers like Grey and Patina that celebrate its quirkiness. A lot of these cracked or “spider” dials have already been serviced as you can only imagine the horror in the late ’70s when owners’ Subs started falling apart. I’ve always wanted one but never had the courage to pull the trigger. Even though I’ve never seen an example of a spider dial where an entire section of a crack has fallen off, the thought stays in the back of my mind. I was offered one at a very sweet price from an owner who couldn’t be bothered to “fix” his, and looking back, I should have snatched it up. This unique pattern came when Rolex started testing out different materials to make the watches look more luxurious. In this process, they changed to glossy dials from a matte dial. Since Rolex did not perfect its lacquer finish, there are a handful of vintage Submariners with the cracking dial, which produced its nickname. Bob’s Watches does a great job and covering these imperfect dials here.

14060 “Custom”

Not exactly an official particular release from the watch brand, but Rolex watches are one of the most customized watches on the globe — even Supreme put out that infamous Sub back in 2013. Purists hate them, and while I will admit they are hit-or-miss, I’ve come to appreciate the work of quality custom watches. My first introduction was via Bamford Watch Department, and it was at a time when a lot of customizers were blacking out their watches with personalized dial printing. The whole world of customization has elevated to such great heights with advanced materials, precious metals, and of course, diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds. Other household names include Mad Paris, Blaken, and DiW. For a more advanced level of customization, down to the movement, Artisans de Genève are the ones to call.

In other watch news, Audemars Piguet releases three new iced-out versions of the Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin.

Ronaldo raked in $105 million overall for 2020, which included $45 million from Nike, Altice, Herbalife and his own CR7 brand, and made $1 million more than long-time rival Messi.

But in 2021, the Portugal captain missed out on becoming the highest-paid athlete on the planet after Conor McGregor pipped him to the post.

McGregor reportedly pocketed a massive $180 million, while Lionel Messi came in second place after earning $130 million last year. Ronaldo soon followed after making a hefty $120 million
