NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — A group of armed home intruders posing as police made off with a Rolex watch and two pricey gold chains Tuesday morning in Queens.
The imposters allegedly forced their way into a basement apartment in Ozone Park.
The New York Post reports the suspects were wearing NYPD knit hats and bulletproof vests.
The suspects zip-tied a couple inside and hit the man on the back of the head.
The gold chains were worth a combined $30,000.
The suspects took off in a van.
The investigation is ongoing. The Post reports five suspects are being sought.
