In 2014, the Crown released the watch everyone was waiting for: A modern "Pepsi" GMT. There was only one catch – it was in white gold, meaning not stainless steel. A year later, we went hands-on with that watch and pitted it against the older Pepsi reference 16710 with its aluminum (as opposed to ceramic) bezel, steel case, and older bracelet. This article is a fun high/low look at two aesthetically similar watches at vastly different price points – though the 16710 continues to rise in value every day. This one goes out to the discontinued.
