Conor McGregor was seen sporting a different watch at last night’s pre-fight press conference for UFC 257. Electing for a less delicate watch, unlike his $1 Million USD Jacob and Co. Astronomia Tourbillon Baguette in Rose Gold, the watch of choice leading up to the fight is Rolex‘s 18-carat Everose Day-Date 40mm.
Looking to channel some of that Irish fighting spirit, the watch has an eye-catching Olive Green dial which is contrasted beautifully over the rose gold fluted bezel (this watch model actually has the option to swap the fluted bezel for a factory diamond one). Powered by the 3255 movement with a day-date function, the watch sees classic Rolex accouterments like the President bracelet and Roman numeral hour markers. The only other watch we could see him wearing for this occasion is his rare Weir & Sons Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Chronograph.
Priced at a cool $40,000 USD this is a fitting piece for the Irishman as he heads back to the octagon this coming weekend against Dustin “The Diamond” Poirier.
