After explaining why fake timepieces are as accurate as authentic ones, Watchfinder & Co. has now unveiled a list of the most coveted luxury watches of the year. The results are based on data from 62.7 million searches on Google over the past 12 months all around the world.
Unsurprisingly, Rolex takes the top spot with four of its timeless and classic models: the Submariner, Daytona, Datejust and Oyster Perpetual. The Sub was looked up roughly 5.1 million times with an average of 430,000 searches per month. Shortly following up is Audemars Piguet with its Royal Oak model, with 1.4 million searches total. The data also reveals that in December 2019, consumers looked up luxury watches more than 6.1 million times in time for the holiday season.
