Today, Seiko announced that the Prospex SRPE27 Monster PADI Special Edition is coming soon.
Close to 20 years after the original diver’s watch that earned the nickname the “Monster” was released the company whose long be associated with diving has announced they will make it in a special edition PADI model.
As with previous iterations across other Seiko diving models, the official PADI logo is stamped on the dial in white at 6 o’clock. Where the styling differs from past Seiko PADI wristwatches, such as the PADI Turtle, is that instead of a blue and red bezel, this is a darker blue PVD plated monoblock bezel, and the dial is black, not blue like usual, and the red accents on the triangular-shaped bezel marker and the minutes and seconds hands as opposed to half of the bezel.
This is all the info we have for now and we will update the post if we learn more.
